Humayun's Tomb in Delhi
After Delhi, the golden triangle journey in India continues the next day heading towards Jaipur capital of Rajasthan. It is the land of the Maharajas, Rajput warriors, colorful saris, and flamboyant turbans. Jaipur is also chaotic like Delhi although of a smaller size. Pink city the nickname of Jaipur, for the characteristic color of its buildings. The symbolic monument is the HawaMahal or Palace of the Winds characterized by its façade. A huge beehive of windows designed for the royal ladies who lived inside could observe outside without being seen. In addition to the HawaMahal, the city shines for its City Palace, the JantarMahal astronomical observatory. Around Jaipur, you can find impressive forts such as the Amber Fort the best known and most appreciated. Of minor importance are the Nahargarh Fort and the Jaigarh Fort. The most important religious sites are the Birla Mandir& the GaltaJi Monkey Temple.
